Portuguese national Cristiano Ronaldo completed a move to Saudi Arabia side Al-Nassr on a free transfer with a deal of earning an estimated 200 million U.S. dollars a year. The Saudi side is certainly set to pay the world's greatest salary to Cristiano Ronaldo during his time at the club which puts Cristiano Ronaldo as the highest paid out of any soccer player in the world.

Having been unveiled as an Al-Nassr player after leaving Manchester United, the 37-year-old has said he has joined the Saudi club because he is "excited to experience a new football league in a different country" and believes the club's vision is "very inspiring."

Ronaldo’s deal with Al-Nassr will last until 2025 and with the biggest salary in the history of the game, worth a grand total of £177m per year ($215m), according to AFP. His basic salary will actually amount to £62m ($75m) with the rest of his pay packet made up of image rights and commercial deals, according to CBS Sports. He is also set to play a role in Saudi Arabia's bid for World Cup 2030.

AFP has reported that Ronaldo's ambassador contribution to the World Cup bid will earn him an additional £177 million on top of his regular playing salary.
